Creativity is the skill of the future. In a world where computers perform complex operations and robots displace manual labor, those creative minds who dare to think out of the box will take charge. We don’t know who they are yet, or where they are right now, but there is a chance they are under your roof, sitting in their room right now. This package encourages and nurtures creativity in your child.

Let’s make sweet moments with our children, this is our goal!

They All Saw A Cat (Book)

They All Saw A Cat by Brendan Wenzel – New York Times bestseller and 2017 Caldecott Medal and Honor Book

“An ingenious idea, gorgeously realized.” -Shelf Awareness, starred review

“Both simple and ingenious in concept, Wenzel’s book feels like a game changer.” -The Huffington Post

The cat walked through the world, with its whiskers, ears, and paws . . . In this glorious celebration of observation, curiosity, and imagination, Brendan Wenzel shows us the many lives of one cat, and how perspective shapes what we see. When you see a cat, what do you see?

If you and your child liked Ricky the Rock That Couldn’t Roll, The Wonderful Things You Will Be, The Girl Who Drank the Moon, Finding Winnie, or Radiant Child – you’ll love They All Saw A Cat.

Daft Bat (Book)

Is Bat batty—or does she just see things a little differently?

The trouble begins when Bat moves into the neighborhood. All the animal children want to welcome her with a special gift—but then Bat shocks them by asking for an umbrella…to keep her feet dry! Soon, it’s clear to everyone, from little Lion Cub to tall Giraffe Calf, that she always gets things upside-down and wrong-way-round. Only when Wise Owl suggests a change of perspective does everything become clear to Bat’s young friends. And kids get to share Bat’s unique viewpoint, too, when they flip the book over to read the upside-down text in this cleverly formatted book.

Adorable animals, and an important lesson charmingly taught, will make this story a favorite.

Doodles: A Really Giant Coloring and Doodling Book

Renowned children’s book illustrator Taro Gomi invites kids of all ages to not only color, but also draw, imagine, and create. Unfinished pictures and intriguing prompts foster children’s powers of visualization, and at nearly 400 pages, this book provides plenty of room to stretch the imagination.

Willow (Book)

Miss Hawthorn’s room is neat and tidy, not a pencil or paintbrush is out of place. And that’s how she likes it. And she likes trees that are colored green and apples that are painted red. Miss Hawthorn does not like things to be different or out of the ordinary. Into Miss Hawthorn’s classroom comes young Willow. She doesn’t color inside the lines, she breaks crayons, and she sees pink trees and blue apples. What will Miss Hawthorn think? Magical things can happen when your imagination is allowed to run wild, and for Miss Hawthorn the notion of what is art and what is possible is forever changed.Willow is the first joint writing effort for sisters Denise Brennan-Nelson and Rosemarie Brennan. Denise’s other Sleeping Bear Press books include Someday Is Not a Day of the Week and My Grandma Likes to Say. She lives in Howell, Michigan. Rosemarie Brennan juggles careers as a writing teacher and an author. She lives in Brighton, Michigan. Cyd Moore studied graphic design and fine arts at the University of Georgia. Her work includes posters, billboards, books, newspaper and magazine articles, and cassette and CD covers. She is the illustrator of I Love You, Stinky Face and I Miss You, Stinky Face. She lives in Commerce, Michigan.

Storytelling Cubes (Game)

Games can help foster creativity in children. With the help of this educational game, children step into the world of imagination and create stories themselves. It includes 9 plastic cubes, similar to a dice, with different pictures on each side. There are many ways to play with these cubes. Our suggestion is to first distribute the cubes among the players; then, each player has to throw the cubes, as they would do with a dice. As they play in turns, each player has to start with “once upon a time… ” and make up a story with the images on the cubes. Other than developing child’s creativity and storytelling skills, this game will improve your child’s Farsi language skills and vocabulary, as well.
