Haji Firouz is a mythical character in Iranian folklore who, alongside Amoo Nowruz, comes to cities and announces the arrival of the New Year. Haji Firouz is a lean man with a black face who wears a cone-shaped hat, pointy-toed shoes (Giveh), and a red dress. He goes to the streets with his tombak and tambourine and dances and sings for people. With this mythical doll that is a symbol of joy, you can bring happiness to your house. These handmade cloth dolls are made by talented doll artists from the south of Iran.
