Authentic Clothing (For Boys)

The idea for providing Iranian traditional clothing here occurred to me when my daughter and I were once at a festival together. We saw the traditional costumes of different countries and I’d tell her about the people who wore those clothes; for example, I’d say, “these are the clothes that people in China wore traditionally” or “this is how princes and princesses dressed” or “this is the clothing of the Aboriginal peoples in Canada that kept them warm in the cold weather” or “this is a beautifully embroidered dress Russian women wear.” Naturally, my daughter asked me about Iranian traditional clothing. So, in our next trip to Iran, I bought her a dress with Shaliteh (or the folded short skirt) with golden embroideries on it. She loved it very much and wore it to her kindergarten on International Day to celebrate her cultural background. I still love looking at her pictures wearing that dress on Yalda, so cute!

Let’s make sweet moments with our children, this is our goal!
